KNEE problems or pain might NOT necessitate surgery.

Bettendorf KNEE Center has effectively treated individuals with knee discomfort without resorting to surgery.

If you’ve been told you should consider KNEE replacement surgery, contact our team to learn more about your options. In the United States, over one-third of KNEE replacement procedures are not useful or necessary for the patient. A botched surgery can result in lost time from work and family, as well as persistent pain. A total KNEE replacement is traditionally thought to be the only lasting treatment for severe knee pain, along with surgeries and prescription medicines. This is not the case, as our staff at Bettendorf KNEE Center can attest!

It should be emphasized that this is a long-term solution that will be difficult to reverse if difficulties arise during the operation.
That’s why patients should always look into non-surgical alternatives and exhaust all other possibilities before making such a life-altering, and often costly, decision. Our clinic offers nonsurgical options for treating KNEE pain at its source, and we’ve helped thousands of patients avoid the risks of knee replacement surgery by supporting them in overcoming pain and resuming a more active, healthy, and happy lifestyle. Clinical KNEE pain caused by degenerative joint disease and osteoarthritis is one of the most frequent health disorders in the United States today, affecting tens of millions of people.

Bettendorf KNEE Center are skilled and knowledgeable offices ready to help you achieve a pain-free, healthy lifestyle.
Our highly trained staff works closely with our doctors to provide you with a professional and friendly experience. At Bettendorf KNEE Center, we view our patients as part of our family. We are happy you have chosen us and look forward to meeting you!

    TREATMENT PROTOCOL

Knee DecompressionAre you experiencing chronic knee pain or arthritis? Do any of the following conditions sound familiar: persistent knee discomfort, a sensation of grinding, advanced arthritis (“bone on bone”), tendonitis, bursitis, cartilage damage, or weakness in your knees and legs?

Are you longing to reclaim your quality of life, to once again engage in simple daily activities such as walking, shopping, playing golf, or even standing without enduring excruciating knee pain?

Many seniors have been informed that knee surgery represents their sole recourse, attributing their condition to simply “wearing out” their joints. However, the reality is far more nuanced. What your physicians may not articulate is that the situation is not as straightforward as it seems. To authentically address your knee pain, a thorough comprehension of its underlying causes is imperative. While individuals grappling with arthritis are cognizant of their diminishing joint cartilage, the question remains: why does this deterioration occur? A simple analogy may shed light on this query: consider the alignment of a car. If one tire consistently wears down, you may opt to patch it (akin to knee injections) or even replace it entirely (resembling knee surgery). Yet, if the vehicle’s alignment remains uncorrected, what will transpire?

    NON-SURGICAL KNEE THERAPY

The Knee on Trac system introduces a non-invasive therapy for individuals suffering from chronic knee pain, providing a groundbreaking solution to this persistent issue. This innovative system is designed to isolate the knee and administer safe, mechanical traction, aiming to alleviate pain through several mechanisms such as decreasing inflammation, increasing range of motion, facilitating re-hydration, and accelerating the healing process.

Tailored to cater to individuals afflicted by a variety of knee-related conditions, the Knee on Trac offers relief to those experiencing chronic knee pain, osteoarthritis, ACL injuries, meniscus tears, failed surgeries, sub-acute muscle strain, chronic muscle strain, and previous injuries.

Mechanical traction, as indicated by studies, outperforms conventional methods in reducing pain and improving overall quality of life. Research has also highlighted the significant enhancement in symptom reduction when mechanical traction is combined with conventional therapy.
